Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Role Overview

The COO will serve as the senior internal operator of Solstice Defence Corporation, responsible for operational execution, institutional discipline, and day-to-day management. This individual will serve as a trusted representative of the company’s leadership and will confidently engage at the highest levels of government, the military, and industry.

Ideal Profile

·      Retired or imminently retiring senior RCAF officer (general officer rank or equivalent)

·      Demonstrated leadership of complex, multi-stakeholder organizations

·      Strong engineering, technical, or science-based background

·      Deep familiarity with aerospace, ISR, space, cyber, C2, NORAD modernization, and emerging military technologies

·      Established network across DND, central agencies(PCO, TBS, GAC), allied militaries, and the defence industrial base

·      Brings immediate credibility and authority in senior defence, government, and allied environments

·      Loyal, discreet, and aligned with a founder-led enterprise

·      Low-ego, team-oriented leader with sound institutional judgement

·      Comfortable representing Solstice Defence Corporation independently at senior engagements

·      Clear communicator across technical, military, political, and commercial audiences

·      Fluency in English and French

·      Experience working within the U.S., NATO and Five Eyes frameworks
